Vision:

The facial expressions on this character are extremely charming. It's as if he sees something he liked, and gives off the impression that he has his head in the clouds. The body language comes off as young, yet slightly built. It's as if he is hard in training, or whatever he does. Fluffy hair is always a plus, and the gear is very clean.

The coloring is simple, yet very appealing to the eye. To this day, I struggle with my own coloring, but it seems like it's working out perfectly for you! Everything is shaded where it should be, and there is no 'uncolored dots' to be seen. (Excluding the shine, of course. So I give you five stars on that!

Originality:

The reason why I give you a 2.5 on this is only because the character isn't yours. However, don't think of that as a bad thing! It's a Fire Emblem character, so it's not someone you created yourself. That's the only reason why I take off 2.5 stars in the rating.

HOWEVER, I rate this 2.5 for the originality in your art style. Fire Emblem is very detailed when it comes to their characters, and almost semi-realistic. This takes it to a whole new level. The style gives it such a warm, fluffy feel instead of serious, ready to battle feel! That's hard to do with these character, so I praise you for that, Scoota.

Technique:

The angles are right, nothing is too long or too short. The body language is not blocky, so it appears natural. That can be difficult to do. The details are smooth, as if you were confident as **** when drawing them. I struggle with that constantly.

HOWEVER, the only reason why I rate this a 4 instead of a 5 is because of the facial shape. It's slightly off, even if he may be looking towards his left. The eyebrows are a little off as well. However, the placement of eyes, nose, and mouth are spot on. Great job!

Impact:

I'm not really sure what DV wants me to say in 'impact', but I assume it means how it'll effect others. I believe that those people who love those deep, vivid colors (Like myself) may see this and think: Oh! These colors are soft, yet so pretty to the eye...

I also believe this will become their new husbano, because he truly is 'soft on the eyes'
Ba dum tis

Anyways...

This may give them a new style of shading clothing wrinkles. That's a creative way you got there, and it still looks clean and simple.

Overall, this picture is:

4.25/5.00

Keep up the good work!
